Extensive renovation works and a rooftop addition to a 4 storey apartment building in Richmond where the roof offers spectacular views of the Melbourne skyline to be taken advantage of. The addition comprises new roof top living/entertaining, al-fresco and studio all accessed by a state of the art vacuum lift.

The original building, completed in the mid 90's has plenty of architectural interest, however, some finishes are failing and it suffers from terrible energy inefficiency so major upgrades are needed whilst maintaining the original architectural language that, in turn, cues off the surrounding industrial heritage. All glazing will be replaced;  accessibility to all building levels improved; and internal floor plans are carefully reconfigured to better suit and enhance the family's  lifestyle.
